The Grandson has started football training

Oh what an exciting day- the Grandson's first football session ( grandpops is a football coach and the son won't have anyone else coaching him). He is kitted out in the new England kit, shirt, shorts and socks, and the yellow and black Nike astro turf boots shinning. As he was lined up against the fence he was the same size as the 4 and 5 yr olds, as he did the stretches and the warm-up he was fitting in nicely. A few dribbles of the ball and we were all very impressed. Just as we were all saying how silly we had been to worry about his possible lack of concentration, inability to follow the instructions and him being maybe a bit too young. The cones were laid out on the pitch, and then we saw it. The Grandson picked them up and started putting them on his head- insisting that Grandpops put his 'hat on ' too!! Ah, how sweet, he really is 2 after all.
