Every year I say Im going to buy the uniform and the shoes with plenty of time for the new year- and yes every year I forget and end up rushing round trying to find stuff at the last minute. The school jumpers and pe t-shirt now has to be bought online at a specialist suppliers, who for some reason take 3 weeks to deliver. Which leads me to moan. I don't know about anyone elses kids but for some reason mine seem to grow about two sizes over the summer holidays. fresh air, lots of exercise, lots of ice cream- who knows but every summer it's the same. SO if I have to purchase the new uniform online at the specialist stockists a month before they start school, how do I guage for the extra growth in the final 4 weeks of holidays. Do i buy one size up, or two sizes up, or do I buy two different sizes and then send the one I don't need back. Of course I don't . I wait until I see no more signs of growth and then buy. Leaving the offspring to start the new year with last years uniform, making them look rather like a poor relation in someone else's clothes.
For those of you who don't have to buy uniforms with logos or special badges on, there are some great deals out there for school uniforms.
